My favourite holiday tradition is our annual post-Christmas family hike! On 26th December, when we are still bursting at the seams from over-indulgence, we head out to the country (with a picnic constituting plentiful leftovers from the day before) for a long, fresh walk. I love the chance to escape the crowds and indulgences, and enjoy life at its purest. It's a great way to reminiss about the year behind us, and plan the year ahead. When we return home, we always have a supper of stilton soup and jacket potatoes, and slump lazily by the fire.

My favourite day of the year :-)

I love The Snowman and Father Christmas by Raymond Briggs. When I was a baby, I used to watch my Snowman video every day until it wore out. Now I have the DVD, and it comes out every Christmas Eve without fail!

My favorite holiday tradition is putting the Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving morning. My family gets into the holiday spirit early!

Also, my favorite memory was the year I got NSync's Christmas album, hahaha. My family loves (and STILL loves) this album, and we play it all the time. Even if it's not Christmas! LOL.
