Kolenya Fingerless Mitts

I made some mittens.
Yep.
I sure did.
I made them from the pattern Kolenya by Sheep and No City. Really enjoyed it, very easy, quick, and plus it only took one ball of yarn! Also it's a free pattern :)
I used Noro Chirimen in the blue colorway. I love how they turned out and seem almost to be made from two different balls of yarn but that's what I like about them. I ended up making them much longer than the pattern calls for since I have larger hands than most and they fit peerrrrfect :).

They were very relaxing to knit even if I did sweat quite a bit knitting them in the heat of the summer............ why is it sooooo hot?
Anyways, I forgot to photograph it but they have these nice little crocheted finger placements to fit like little cubby holes which I really like. They keep my hands nice and warm and I can't wait to really be able to use them in the cold.

Another finished project!! I'm really staying on track and it makes me so happy. I feel really relieved that my project pile is actually diminishing. So good.
XOXO, Callie

(P.S. In case you couldn't tell that's my sister Kaitlyn of My Baloney, modeling for me. Thanks beauty.)
