Daily Doodle

This was drawn in the library of my school after a history test, this little owl kindly reminds one to READ daily. I haven't been able to read much for fun lately... but the last books I read were Hunger Games and Mockingjay by Susan Collins. I am on the last book of the series, Catching Fire, my brother recommended them to me,and all in all they were very entertaining. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a light, good read.

Do you have any books to recommend?

Have a happy Tuesday!

Daily Doodles

Just some little drawings I did for fun!

But then again all drawing is fun. :)

I've been up to all kinds of creating lately!

Done in oil pastel.

Happy Thursday!!!

Don't forget to enter the Carfty Goodness Swap if you haven't already!

Daily Doodle

Drew this in my government class, while taking notes two weeks ago. Kaitlyn saw it and suggested the name. It is a little gnome who is performing a new dance called The Barley and Hop. He makes me laugh!

Drawn with a pencil.

Happy Monday.

Daily Doodle

I had this business card from one of my favorite stores in Austin, Uncommon Objects and I loved it.

The flowers, the gold, the faded patina, all of it.

And so I got to thinking how it might make a nice frame around a drawing.

And so meet the former business card of Uncommon Objects, after it had a run in with some trusty scissors, glue, scrap paper, pen and colored pencils.

Hope your day is fantastically great!!! :)

Daily Doodle

Drawn in pen.

I thought I would show you what one of my drawings looked like before I colored in it.

I wish spring break could go on for another week. I don't feel ready to go back just yet.

Daily Doodle

I love the sun!

I drew this little sun recently for a card I sent out to someone.

Drawn in colored pencil and pen.

It kind of reminded me of a song I used to listen to, and my mom used to sing to us when we were younger "Mr. Sun".

This version is not the best but oh well, you get the idea.

:)

Sorry for the lack of posts but I have spring break this week and so far have spent it helping my parents with the garden and with the remodeling of their kitchen...

Hope you have seen good old Mr. Sun, recently like we have here.

When classes bore me, I inevitably end up doodling on whatever piece of paper is near. Here is one I did last semester in my anthropology class. I am considering whether or not to color him in... what do you think?

Happy Tuesday!

Daily Doodle

Hello everyone,

Here is another little bird inspired drawing for today. It was done last night in between trying to do my annoying Macroeconomics homework.... grrr...but anyways I am really glad I finished early and now can enjoy the rest of my weekend. Wishing you all a happy weekend!

Daily Doodle

Well, I have been drawing up a storm while on my break. This is my most recent drawing of a bird which I made myself complete in 15 minutes...I have been trying to make myself work faster since I have a problem taking a long time on all of my drawings. I want to get faster and this is the result: a little birdie as well as the words "Fly away with me".

Draw in ink and colored pencil.

Have a Happy Wednesday!
